A great part of the Crown Point Hotel's beauty has to be Store Bay....what can I say....beautiful.....wonderful....not enough....judge for yourself.

After this shot all the rest will be an anti-climax.......this shot more than any of the others which were all intended to improve on this one, came out well but no challenge to this one at all......Store Bay at its best......calm, sparsely populated, clear, and tranquil. In the background is the new Coco Reef Hotel, big upmarket hotel that really looses touch with the surroundings and the whole simple beauty of Tobago. There's room for everyone so they fill a need and do it well. Compare this scene with the unusual one in the Quiet?? page.....wow!

You've seen this one before but it places Store Bay in the wider surroundings and is a lovely shot in its own right. Note the active "Bucco Reef" boats.....unfortunately their success at making money has been at some cost to the reef and its beautiful inhabitants. Something is being done about it now and the boatmen are chipping in as they see the pull of the reef's beauty declining as the reef dies slowly. Nature is very resourceful and even the shortest breathing space will see a turnaround in the fortunes of this beautiful spot.

Ever wondered what happened to Miss.Jean and the other "crab and dumplin" ladies....well big time now....beautiful facilities that are treated with respect by all the vendors......food still good and beers still cold. Big craft area included with lots of good local stuff.....a happy change in Tobago.
